He returned to coach in 2003 after being hired by the University of New Orleans Lakefront, and in his debut season had an 81-9 record. Most recently, he became a part of the New Orleans Privateers, with whom he has continued quite successfully, winning a number of prestigious awards.

Popularity through Marriage and Divorce

Burzis and Hoda met on a Valentine’s Day in 2004, while both were guests at the American Heart Association event. The two hit it off immediately, and after a year of a romantic relationship, Kanga proposed Hoda in May 2005; the wedding ceremony was held in December 2005 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. However, their marriage didn’t last long, as Hoda filed for divorce in February 2007 and the process was finalized the following year. They didn’t have children together. Burzis has blamed Hoda for their divorce, particularly her problems with fertility and also constant travels from New Orleans to New York. All that had put a strain on their romance and the final result was their split. Since the divorce, Kanga has remained single and focused on his career as a tennis coach. He has also withdrawn from the public eye, and isn’t active on any social media network. Nevertheless, he remains quite a popular figure in the entertainment world, because of his accomplishments as a tennis coach, but also as the ex-husband of one of the most prominent journalists of the present day.
