Born Dorothy Miranda Clark under the sign of Aries on the 11th of April 1995 in Enfield, London, United Kingdom, Dodie is a 23-year-old Caucasian, an award-winning singer-songwriter, author and YouTuber. She is perhaps best known to the world for her long-term presence on the internet through her YouTube channels and the music that she posts there. She has had a number of successes over the course of her sometimes lucrative singer-songwriter career during the current decade.

Early Life: Growing up in Enfield

Dodie was raised in her birthplace with a sister named Heather (nicknamed Hedy, also a youtuber) and a brother named Iain – although their ages are unknown – by parents of unknown names and professions. As for her education, she matriculated in 2013 from The Leventhorpe School in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, where she obtained her General Certificate of Secondary Education and completed various A-Level examinations. Pre-Career: A YouTube Stint

Dodie’s first YouTube channel actually had nothing to do with music. Along with her friend Alice Webb, Dodie created a YouTube channel named “Dodders5” on the 1st of August 2007, but later renamed it to “Alice and Dodie show!” On this channel, the pair would post humorous videos in an attempt to attract an audience. However, it doesn’t seem as though it was a success since Dodie’s fame nowadays comes from her other channel.

Career: A YouTube Star

After graduating from the said institution, Dodie moved in with Jamie Jo (also known on YouTube as BananaJamana) in the town of Bath, England. Along with Jo’s help and support, Dodie created a YouTube account and posted her performances on it. The account “doddleoddle” was started on the 7th of February 2011, at which point Dodie began preparing her musical debut, specifically an original song that she wrote two years earlier, entitled “Rain”, which was released on the 14th of April in the same year. On January 28th 2012, after gaining fame with her music performances, Dodie created the channel entitled “doddlevloggle”, on which she posts vlogs about her personal life. Nw, she also has her VEVO channel, entitled “dodieVEVO.” Dodie has thus far managed to attract over 200 million views on her first musical YouTube channel, which bears the description “Hello! I have emotions! I’m a bit broken! I write songs about that! I cover songs that make me feel stuff about that!” Dodie doesn’t only perform her own songs, but her channel is a mix of her original releases and covers of other songs that she finds emotionally attractive. At the moment, she is working on her next release.

Love Life: A Mystery

As for Dodie’s romantic involvements, she is known to have dated Tow Law at some point within the last half a decade, and the YouTuber Sammy Paul after that. In 2015 she announced on her Twitter account that she is bisexual, addressing her newly revealed sexuality in one of her vlog posts on YouTube in 2016. It is unknown whether Dodie is dating anyone right now, and she has never been married. There hasn’t been any controversy surrounding her past relationships.
