“Renée sang to a packed House only last month and was looking forward to another busy year ahead doing what she loved most – singing for her devoted fans around the country,” the statement read.
“Renée lived as she performed it: on her terms and to the fullest. She was a force of nature and a national treasure, and her death leaves a huge vacuum in the Australian music industry.”
