In an interview with The Sun, Olga Sharif disclosed that she had not met Sara Sharif for four years.
When Ms. Sharif received the phone call informing her of her daughter’s passing, she was en route back to Poland.
“I immediately started crying when they informed me Sara had been discovered dead in a house,” Olga said. It took six hours for her to return to the UK.
“For four years, I could not visit my daughter, and now she has passed away. She was a young child. She did nothing wrong,” stated Olga Shariff.
Moreover, the devastated mother claimed that her late daughter’s behavior changed considerably when she moved in with her father and his influence over her increased.
As mentioned above, Olga has a Catholic background. In the same interview with The Sun, Ms. Sharif said, “They wouldn’t eat certain foods because they are not halal.
Oga claimed her ex-spouse, Urfan, told her their kids would be Muslims, but she said, “No, they would learn about both religions.”
“I did not want to force the children. I assured them they might choose to become Muslims later in life if desired,” added Olga.
It has been reported that the authorities were summoned to the house where Sara’s body was found last week after concerns for Sara’s welfare.
The mourning mother is now waiting for the results of the post-mortem report to find out how her beloved daughter died. Also, Olga hopes to bury Sara’s body in her home country Poland.
