Nonso Anozie, born on the 28th of May 1979, is a British-Nigerian actor who became known for his roles in the movies “RocknRolla”, “Ender’s Game” and “Cinderella.” He also became famous through his role as XaroXhoanDaxos in the hit television series “Game of Thrones.”
Nanso Anozie’s Early Life
Anozie was born in London, England of Igbo Nigerian descent – his real full name is Chukwunonso Nwachukwu Anozie. Little information is known about his family and early education, but Anozie subsequently graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2002, and has been involved in acting ever since.

Anozie’s career started right after graduating from drama school, when he was cast to play the title role of “King Lear,” then joined the cast of “Othello”, for which he won the Ian Charleson Award in 2004. His early years as an actor established his career and net worth.

In 2006, Anozie was supposed to provide his voice to the film “Northern Lights” but Ian McKellen replaced him before it was released. In 2007, he debuted in two movies, “The Last Legion” and “Atonement”, and on TV in the series entitled “Prime Suspect 7: The Final Act.” He then started to gain more prominent roles, being cast in Guy Ritchie’s film “RocknRolla” playing the character of Think Tank. He also nabbed the lead role in the British crime drama film “Cass” in 2008, and in 2011 played Artus in “Conan the Barbarian.” His various roles in movies and on television helped considerably to increase his wealth.
In 2012, Anozie joined the hit HBO television series “Game of Thrones”, playing the role of XaroXhoanDaxos. Despite only appearing in five episodes, his appearance in the series also helped in his career, and he then continued to make waves in films, appearing in movies including “The Grey”, “Ender’s Game” and “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.” In 2015, he joined the live adaptation of Disney’s “Cinderella”, playing the role of the Captain of the Guards. Today, Anozie is still working as an actor – some of his most recent appearances include the series “Zoo”, and the movie “7 Days in Entebbe.” He will also join the 2019 movie “Artemis Fowl”, playing the role of Domovoi Butler.

Aside from acting in front of the camera, Anozie is also known for his voice-acting skills mostly in video games. He has lent his voice to the games ‘The Golden Compass” as lonek, “Brink” in the character of Captain Clinton Mokoena, “Remember Me”, and “Dirty Bomb” as Rhino and Sawbonez. His stint as a voice actor also helped in increasing his net worth.
