Katie’s professional acting career started in 2010, when she landed a small role as Jill in an episode of the FOX sci-fi series “Fringe”, which was followed by her debut film appearance as Emily in the TV film “Tangled”. Afterwards, she guest-starred as Minka in the USA Network detective comedy-drama series “Psych” (2010), Maisie MacDonald in the Canadian drama series “Endgame” (2011), and as Ellie in the Syfy sci-fi series “SGU Stargate Universe” (2011).

Katie’s breakthrough came in the following year, when she appeared in the role of Frances Saunders in the film “Crash Site: A Family In Danger”, directed by Jason Bourque.
