She was then an assistant journalist as well as CNN’s political correspondent, reporting from Capitol Hill about the matters of the US Congress. In 2000, Dana covered the presidential primaries, and occasionally traveled with big names of the USA’s political scene such as the former Vice President Al Gore and Senator Bill Bradley.
