Born in Los Angeles, California, Warren is the son of Michael Warren of African-American descent, while his mother Sue Narramore is Caucasian. His father was an actor who became known for his hit television series “Hill Street Blues.” Warren attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, along with Kate Hudson. Later on, he went to Yale University from where he graduated with a degree in political science in 2001.
