Early Life, Family, and Education
Jerry is the son of Edward D. Solomon and Roberta Madison; his father Edward was the CEO of Shoe Town Inc, introducing Jerry to business from an early age. Following his high school matriculation, he enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles and later acquired a Master’s degree in International Business from Columbia University.
Career Beginnings
Jerry’s career as a sports manager started in the early ‘80s, when he was appointed a director of the Volvo Grand Prix, a professional tennis circuit. He remained in the position for the next five years, when he switched to ProServ. Gradually, his position at ProServ improved as he was becoming attuned to his work, collaborating with several prominent athletes and sportsmen, which resulted in him being appointed as the marketing president of ProServ.

As his name was becoming more well-known and popular, he would attract some of the biggest names from a variety of sports; however, it was when he met Nancy Kerrigan and got her under his wing, that he became a world-renowned sports manager. The two have worked together to bring $3 million contract signings, which not only benefited Nancy but also Jerry. From this professional relationship, love developed and the two married each other. However, let’s get back to Jerry’s career. He later became the manager of such sportsmen as Ivan Lendl, Shannon Miller, and Karch Kiraly.

Jerry is now the CEO and president of Stargames LLC, and has worked on producing a number of sporting events, such as King of the Beach Invitational, BNP Paribas Showdown, Scottish Grass Court Championships, Tennis Night in America, NetJets Showdown, and Queen of the Beach Invitational, among others.
Jerry has also explored the world of filmmaking, and has produced several projects; his debut was the television film “Ice Angel” in 2000, a comedy-drama directed by George Erschbamer, and starring Nicholle Tom, Tara Lipinski, and his wife Nancy Kerrigan. Since then he has worked on several other projects, including “The Easter Egg Adventure” in 2004, “Great Pair Performance on Ice” (2006), and most recently “Caesar’s Tribute III: A Salute to the Ladies of the Ice”, a TV special released in 2011.

She is a retired figure skater and actress, having started ice skating at an early age. She came to prominence in the early ‘90s, winning bronze medals at the 1991 World Championships and the 1992 Winter Olympics, and silver medals at the 1992 World Championships and the 1994 Winter Olympics. In 1994, Nancy was the victim of an incident when the ex-husband of her rival Tonya Harding attacked her with a police baton; luckily she recovered in time for the Winter Olympics. Following the end of her competitive career, Nancy performed with artistic troupes such as Champions on Ice and Broadway on Ice.
