Early Life, Family, and Education

Of Italian and English ancestry, Claire grew up in London raised by her parents, Pier Luigi Forlani, a music manager, and Barbara Dickinson. When she was only 11 years old, she enrolled at the Arts Educational School in London, where she started studying acting, parallel with which she was also very active in attending dancing classes, and as she excelled, Claire appeared on stage in productions of “Orpheus in the Underworld” and “The Nutcracker”.

Claire’s career really started in the early ‘90s, with a minor role in the TV series “Press Gang” (1991-1992), followed by playing Katarina in the film “Gypsy Eyes”, starred next to Jim Metzler and George DiCenzo, which persuaded her that an acting career was for her career. Encouraged by her immediate success, Claire and her family moved to the USA and settled in San Francisco, and she was soon cast in the series “JFK: Reckless Youth”, and then in the film “Police Academy: Mission to Moscow”.
