Who is Blake Shelton’s ex-wife, Kaynette Williams?

Kaynette Gern was born on 20 February 1973, in Ada, Oklahoma USA, and so is 45 years-old. She is best known as the first wife of the acclaimed country singer, Blake Shelton, to whom she was married for three years from 2003 to 2006, during which time she also worked as his manager.

Ethnicity, Height, Weight and Body Measurements

She is Caucasian, with naturally dark hair but which she habitually dyes blonde with highlights. Sources estimate that Kaynette is 165cms (5ft 5ins) tall, and weighs about 150lbs (70kgs), and photographs strongly suggest  that she is fit and healthy physically if not emotionally.

Net Worth

$250,000, with her wealth being accumulated from several different professions she was active in, such as the profession of the manager and math facilitator, and from the divorce settlement.

Early Life and Education

Kaynette was educated in Ada. Reportedly, she met Blake Shelton during their high school days, and the couple continued dating for a long time prior to marrying in late 2003 – according to sources, they shared strong emotions for each other, and she was deeply affected when they divorced later on.

Career

There is little public information regarding Williams’ career, but she worked as a manager for her ex-husband, which means that she was in charge of some aspects of his touring and relations with the media. The job of a manager naturally involves responsibilities such as contributing to the team, representing the artist, organizing and confirming show dates and tours, and that the salary of both artist and manager is maintained.

However, having divorced Shelton, and having moved on with her life and career, Kaynette began working as a math facilitator, which means that her responsibilities include assisting and supporting teachers, as well as implementing the components of the math curriculum.

Husband

Kaynette dated the future immensely popular country singer Blake Shelton for years prior to their marriage in 2003, and Shelton confessed his love for Kaynette in late 2003, one month after the marriage, during an episode of “Country Weekly”. Being married to a renowned singer, Kaynette was exposed to the media and rose to fame.  The singer added that he knew Kaynette “was the one just because he couldn’t explain it” and couldn’t say that it was because of the way she looks, or because they got along really well. “It’s just something that I feel – you know what I mean? It’s nothing more than just knowing you’re right”, he additionally stated. However, their love ended in 2005, when Shelton apparently fell in love with Miranda Lambert, his fellow country singer and now wife, after doing a concert with her. They went on to release “You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma” for one CMT special. In 2006, Kaynette slammed her then-husband with a divorce case, charging him with “inappropriate marital misconduct”.

Post-Divorce

Having divorced Williams, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly Shelton stated “I was a married guy, you know? Naturally, the divorce was especially hard for Kaynette, as she lived in the same city as her ex-husband and his new lover. Speaking about this period, Williams said that she moved from Tennessee to Oklahoma after the divorce, but then her ex husband and his partner moved to a neighboring town, which made her feel like Oklahoma wasn’t big enough for all of them.

The Second Marriage

Having got over the divorce, Williams moved on with her life, and subsequently relocated to Great Bend, Kansas, where she works as a math facilitator at an elementary school. According to sources, she dated and then lived with Cody Joe Scheck, a rodeo champion, and they subsequently married, She has apparently changed her name to that of her new husband, including on her social media accounts as well.
