Born under the sign of Scorpio on the 6th of November 1981, in Seoul, South Korea, Lee Dong-wook is a 36-year-old Asian actor and model, perhaps best known to the world for his significant presence on the TV screen in lead roles in various South Korean TV dramas, such as “My Girl” and “Scent of a Woman.” He has had a number of other roles across various films and TV shows throughout his often lucrative acting career since 1999.
Early Life and Education
Lee was the eldest of four siblings, raised in his birthplace by parents of yet unknown names and professions. His family is from a middle-class background, and it is known that he helped them financially after he made his debut in the acting world. It is unknown when he took an interest in what he does today, as well as any of his childhood hobbies. He attended a thus far unidentified high school and matriculated in 1999, then enrolled at Joongbu University, a private research university in Goyang in South Korea, from where he graduated with a degree in broadcasting and media arts. Since his family started running out of money while he was finishing high school, he took minor roles to fund his own education, as help his family. He continued this throughout his college years, which was a good basis to later become a full-time actor.

Love Life
As for Lee’s romantic involvements, nothing is known about his love life for sure until his first publicly confirmed relationship, although there were rumors about him previously dating certain Korean celebrities, such as the actress Kim Hyun Joo and the singer Lee Da Hae. As of March 2018, however, it’s been confirmed by both of the celebrities’ companies that Lee Dong-wook and the singer Bae Suzy are now ‘officially’ dating. The two met through a mutual friend, and slowly took an interest in each other until they began dating. The two were seen on a date multiple times, specifically once in Cheongdam, alongside one of their managers. Suzy was seen smiling in his presence, and according to the witnesses, Lee is treating her like a true gentleman. The couple themselves seem to be a little shy of speaking about their relationship in public, so all of this information is known thanks to their companies and the curious fans. Naturally, they haven’t announced any plans for the future of their relationship.
