Viva was born the daughter of Lee Skubiszewski, of a yet unknown profession, and Cezary Skubiszewski, a world-renowned Polish composer for television, film and orchestra, and has a brother named Jan Skubiszewski – a producer and composer. She first lived in the countryside of Victoria with her family before they moved to Melbourne due to her father’s career. There, she attended an unspecified high school, from where she matriculated and went on to enroll at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts to pursue a degree in acting, from where she graduated with honors on an unspecified date.
