As she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Growing up, Williams took on the nickname Maisie based on a character from the comic entitled “The Perishers”, which is popular in the UK. She was raised with three siblings by their mother, a former university course administrator. She attended Norton Hill School and after matriculating, enrolled at Bath Dance College to study Performing Arts.

Her popularity would quickly rise from her first professional role at the age of 14, as she was cast in the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones” in 2011, having auditioned and been chosen from a pool of 300 actresses. She received a lot of critical acclaim for her performance in the series, which is an adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s fantasy novels entitled “A Song of Ice and Fire”. Over the next few years, she continued to gain attention for her role in “Game of Thrones”, leading her to win the 2012 Portal Award for Best Supporting Actress, becoming the youngest actress to ever win in that category.

Prominence and Later Work

In 2013, Maisie was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Supporting Young Actress and also won the BBC Radio 1 Teen Award for Best British Actor. 1 I was quite weird in school. I think people were scared of me because I was like really, really hyper. I had a few friends but I was never the popular one or the pretty girl…One of the reasons I love ‘Game of Thrones’ is because it’s about finding out who your real friends are, and sometimes that takes a very long time to realize.
2 [observation, 2014] I feel like I’ve grown up extremely quickly working on ‘Game of Thrones’. I’m now working in an adults’ world at sixteen.. I can fly all the way to Northern Ireland but I can’t book into a hotel because I’m still in my early teens. It’s like this weird limbo where half of me is, like, ‘Grow up!’ and the other half is, like, ‘You’re still a child’.
3 She’s feisty, a bit of a rebel, a tomboy, she is also quite brave and quick thinking, she wants to be listened to but sees everything very black and white… bit like me really!
