Where Is Ryan Seacrest Going After Leaving Live? Mark Consuelos Replacing Him
As Ryan Seacrest is leaving his longtime position on Live With Kelly and Ryan, Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, is replacing him permanently. The talk show will rebrand as Live With Kelly and Mark.
While sharing the news of his departure, Seacrest said working with Kelly has been a dream job and one of the highlights of his professional career. Ryan praised his co-host as a fantastic partner, friend, and confidant.
He also remarked that he would surely miss Kelly and the entire staff and crew. “We have created memories that will last for a lifetime,” added the 48-year-old producer.
The media personality continued, “I had the warmest welcome into the homes of so many viewers across America and met some of the most incredible people. After a great journey, I’m eager to hand the reins to Kelly’s spouse, Mark.”
Moreover, Seacrest also talked about his friendship with Kelly Ripa. They have been friends for 20 years. They are now like family.
“I love the idea that we get a chance to sit here daily and interact with you in your homes,” the Georgia native said, referring to audiences as he got emotional during the telecast before ending his announcement with a joke.

In a separate statement, Kelly Ripa expressed her gratitude for having spent six years beside Ryan (her dear friend). She said she would miss starting her days with the departing co-host. The gorgeous lady also remarked that Ryan’s passion, energy, and love for entertainment are one-of-a-kind.

A source close to the media personality said he has much to look forward to. Following the news of his departure, Ryan had many conversations about stepping away from the show.
An insider said it was entirely Seacrest’s decision, and it has been a long since he openly talked about it with his co-host.
The insider also disclosed that the media personality would turn his attention to new projects, including a potential step toward the food industry.
