The Miami Incident
On 24 May 2022, Billzo took to X and other social media platforms to update his followers about his well-being and that of his friend, Badlinu, after they were mugged while shooting in Miami, Florida. He uploaded a video on X giving details of the incident, and went on to announce that he would not be releasing his vlog of the US as he’d promised earlier. The mugger made away with Billzo’s signature samurai bandana, Freddie’s laptop, and a backpack, which contained Billzo’s insulin. After uploading the video, numerous fans and supporters expressed their concerns and sympathies, and urged Billzo not to apologize for not uploading the US blog after experiencing such a stressful event.
