“Never on purpose,” Mason affirmed. “Not at all. Simply said, I don’t think that. Not to take their own life or commit suicide.”
According to reports, Tyler Barnett was vacationing with his family on the cruise. On Monday, a horrible event occurred when a 28-year-old man was seen purposefully jumping from a cruise ship on a surveillance video.
The man was recognized as Tyler Barnett, a twin daughter’s father. That day, he was on the Carnival Glory, a cruise ship out of Orleans, with his sister and roughly thirteen other families.

Authorities on board the cruise liner attested to the fact that they were helping Barnett’s family members. According to reports, Tyler Barnett was vacationing with his family on the cruise.
“The Carnival Glory security crew has verified that, following many examinations of the onboard security footage, it seems that the passenger who was reported missing on Monday, Nov. 13, leaped from Deck 4 of the ship at around 1:40 a.m. He is seen getting onto a lifeboat and jumping off of it.”
The Coast Guard immediately started searching for Tyler Barnett, covering a 200-mile radius surrounding the purported jump site.
A missing man has also prompted authorities to warn Gulf boaters to exercise caution. Hernandez later verified that they had focused their search on a location 30 miles southwest of Southwest Pass, Louisiana.

On Monday, the U.S. Coast Guard began a search in the Gulf of Mexico, covering about 200 miles of the ship’s route and alerting seafarers along the way.

Mason stated that she is currently praying for a miracle with her family. “I won’t give up hope until they quit,” she stated.
