Golfer Tiger Woods’s $30M lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman now claims he used an NDA to silence her.

Tiger Woods recovery from his 2021 accident in Los Angeles has been filled with drama rolling in from every direction. In March his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman filed a $30M lawsuit after they split claiming Tiger had verbally agreed to take care of her for five more years. She alleges she was tricked out of the house he allowed her to stay in. Allegedly Tiger’s team told her to pack for a vacation but then dropped her at the airport and told her the relationship was over. She also claims the agreement that included Tiger taking care of her was for “services” which haven’t been explained.

According to CNN, in the latest court documents, Herman is claiming the golfer sexually harassed her in the workplace.

“Tiger Woods, the internationally renowned athlete and one of the most powerful figures in global sports, decided to pursue a sexual relationship with his employee, then – according to him – forced her to sign an NDA about it or else be fired from her job,” the court document said. “And, when he became disgruntled with their sexual relationship, he tricked her into leaving her home, locked her out, took her cash, pets, and personal possessions, and tried to strong-arm her into signing a different NDA.”

“A boss imposing different work conditions on his employee because of their sexual relationship is sexual harassment,” Herman’s attorney Benjamin Hobas states in the filing.

The relationship between Woods and Herman starting while she was employed by his company could be seen as an abuse of power. These new details certainly change the perception of the lawsuit and could pose an issue for Woods. Risking this lawsuit seeing a courtroom could be costly to the tune of $30M or more. Of course, Tiger is a billionaire but he didn’t get there being wasteful.
