He’s the Melbourne-based musician set to make his reality TV debut on Channel 10’s new season of The Bachelors.

And on Wednesday night, Jed McIntosh looked every inch the rock star as he was spotted enjoying a night out in Sydney with friends.

The 25-year-old drummer looked effortlessly stylish in a head-to-toe leather look that included a jacket and skintight pants.

Jed completed his look with a pair of black Dr. Martens Boots and a silver chain.

McIntosh was spotted leaving trendy hot spot Bar Totti’s in Sydney’s CBD before meeting fellow musician Keenan Te and his manager Cam Noble.

The pair then stopped for dessert to pick up gelato ice-cream at Gelato Messina in Bondi.

Jed is one of three male suitors who will be appearing on The Bachelors, joining fellow leading men Felix Von Hofe and Thomas Malucelli.

It comes after Australia’s new Bachelors were warned against using social media for self-promotion ahead of the upcoming season.

Channel 10 executives were reportedly alarmed when Jed and Thomas promoted projects unrelated to the show on Instagram.

The network was forced to have a ‘stern chat’ with both men and their co-star Felix Von Hofe, telling them this kind of behaviour makes the program look cheap.

Television bosses stepped in after life coach Thomas advertised his self-help book and punk musician Jed promoted his new single.

The three men were told in no uncertain terms to hold off promoting their ventures.

‘When the leads have so many projects ready to drop and promote before the show, it ruins the integrity a little and the illusion these people are there looking for love,’ claimed a source.

‘They’ve been told to hold off with their side projects until after the show has aired.’

Back in October, Channel 10 warned all cast members from The Bachelors to stay away from the ’embarrassing’ stars of Married At First Sight.

‘An email went out to the cast, including the leading men, to stay away from the stars of MAFS,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia.

‘It said they were embarrassing, and if we wanted our [Instagram] blue ticks and $5,000 bonus, we had to stay away from any events or other reality stars.’

Daily Mail Australia understands all cast members have been offered $5,000 and a nomination of a blue tick on Instagram as an inducement to stick to their contract.
