Born Maximillion Drake Thieriot on the 14th October 1988, in Los Altos Hills, California USA, he is the son and middle child of George Cameron Thieriot and his wife Bridgit Ann; he has a younger brother Aidan, and an older sister, Frances. He is the descendent of M.H. de Young and his brother Charles de Young, who founded the  San Francisco Chronicle. Max’s paternal grandparents died when the SS Andrea Doria sank in 1956. He spent his childhood in Occidental in Sonoma County, California USA, and went to Sonoma County Day School, located in Santa Rosa.

After middle school, he enrolled at El Molino High School in Forestville, California, and matriculated in 2006.

Career Beginnings

Max’s career started in the early 2000s, when he started attending improvisation classes organized by Don Gibble, a talent manager. After this he soon secured a modeling gig with GAP, and featured in a couple of short films, before he made his acting debut. It was in 2004 that he was selected for the part of Gus in the film “Catch That Kid”, starring next to Kristen Stewart and Corbin Bleu.
