Kacie McDonnell was born on the 30th July 1990, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania USA, the daughter of Ken McDonnell and his wife, Michelle. She shared her childhood with siblings Isabelle McDonnell, and Lochlan McDonnell. She went to BVM High School, and after matriculation enrolled at Villanova University, from which she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Specializations in Journalism & Media Production.

Career Beginnings

Soon after graduation, Kacie secured her first job when she was hired by QVC as the On-Air Model. She remained there for two years, after which she became a part of Fox Television, joining Fox 29 as an Eagles pre-game and sideline reporter. For the next five months, she honed her skills at Fox 29, before she was recruited by Turner Sports. Gradually she was becoming more popular, and her career started developing in the right way. She worked as a sideline reporter for the station, and in between worked for several other stations, including KSHB – an NBC-affiliate – and E.W. Scripps Company.

Kacie’s name became more noticed in sports journalism, and it paid off in 2016 when she received an offer from NESN to join the prestigious network. Kacie accepted the offer, and became a member of the Boston-based television network. Since then, Kacie has become one of the most renowned journalists of the network, and her time is only coming.
