Jey Uso is currently one of RAW’s top babyfaces, engaged in an intense feud with Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and his allies. However, WWE personality Sam Roberts has speculated that the company might move Jey—along with Sami Zayn—to SmackDown in order to support Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu.
On SmackDown, Jimmy and Jacob have recently aligned against Solo Sikoa’s dominant new iteration of The Bloodline. The numbers game has worked against them, as Solo’s group grows in strength. Meanwhile, Jey and Zayn are entrenched in multiple feuds on RAW. Jey continues his rivalry with Rollins’ group, including Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, while Sami Zayn is battling a personal war with Karrion Kross.
Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts addressed the imbalance on SmackDown and suggested a high-profile shift in talent across brands to even the odds.
“Solo’s group created a real threat on SmackDown. So, it feels like you need a high-profile group to combat them. You could—Sami Zayn is in the middle of a story with Karrion Kross right now. You could pull off a super trade, where LA Knight goes to RAW, Sami Zayn goes to SmackDown… and then Jey comes over because he and Sami are close. You could do Jey and Jimmy and Sami and Jacob,” said Roberts. H/T:TJRWrestling
Jey Uso vs. Bronson Reed Ends in Chaos on RAW
On this week’s episode of RAW, Jey Uso clashed with Bronson Reed in a heated singles match as part of his ongoing rivalry with Seth Rollins’ faction. Just when the action reached a high point, Reed introduced a steel chair into the match, attacking Jey and forcing a disqualification.
The assault didn’t stop there. Reed delivered two thunderous Tsunamis on a vulnerable Jey Uso after the bell had rung. The former World Heavyweight Champion was left in clear pain and had to be helped to the backstage area. It’s currently unknown if Jey will miss any in-ring time due to the vicious attack.

If Sam Roberts’ speculation proves true, a move to SmackDown could not only reunite Jey with Jimmy, but also reshape the current dynamics of the Bloodline storyline heading into the latter half of 2025.
