Around three decades ago, Ian McCormack traveled the world chasing adventures as a passionate surfer. At one point, he went to the Island of Mauritius, an Island on the coast of Africa that is famous for its great surfing and diving.

The former surfer loved the ocean. He was an avid diver. One day he dived into the ocean, but something smashed his forearm. The author described it in an interview as like thousands of volts of electricity.
