Kay Adams couldn’t hold back her laughter after an unexpected on-air moment with the Jacksonville Jaguars’ mascot stole the show. The host of FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams was in Jacksonville last week as part of her NFL training camp tour, kicking off her broadcast with a lighthearted skit alongside the team’s costumed cat.

The playful segment ended with the mascot leaning in and making exaggerated “kissy” sounds.

“His kissy noises sent me — I was crying,” Adams wrote on social media, describing her reaction.

The viral moment quickly spread among fans, adding to the list of memorable clips from Adams’ third season hosting Up & Adams. Known for mixing football insight with humor, the former Good Morning Football host has been traveling to training camps around the league, engaging with players and coaches.

While in Jacksonville, Adams also spoke with rookie Travis Hunter, one of the rare modern NFL players attempting to play both offense and defense.

Hunter addressed the criticism he’s faced over whether he can handle the demanding two-way role.

“I really don’t care what people say… I just let them do the talking,” Hunter told Adams. “The world is a better place when we’re all uplifting each other. If you’re telling somebody what they can’t do just because you didn’t do it, it’s not right. I don’t connect myself to any of those people.”

When asked if switching between cornerback and wide receiver is as difficult as it sounds, Hunter’s answer was simple.

“It’s not hard at all,” he said.

Hunter has been splitting his practice time between both positions, often working on offensive reps immediately after defensive drills. He’s also been spending extra time with quarterback Trevor Lawrence to sharpen their timing ahead of the preseason.
