Big Brotherās Farida was the first housemate to be evicted from the ITV revival series of the show on Friday.
The make-up artist jumped up and down and flung her arms in the air as she shouted: āYes!ā
She proceeded to hug her fellow housemates before making a swift exit to meet show hostsĀ AJ Odudu and Will Best.
Farida was up for eviction against NHS manager Kerry who was in tears as she waited in suspense for the news to be announced.
An excited Farida said: āI had the most amazing time. Thank you every body for making the effort and coming tonight.ā

Earlier in the episode, the housemates each voted for who they wanted to be put up for nomination.
In a major change for this series, the contestants were only allowed to vote for one person, changed decades of tradition as they voted for two in previous series.Ā
Residents of the showās famous house were forbidden from voting for Olivia after she won immunity having passed her secret mission which saw her successfully convince her fellow housemates she was the least entertaining of the bunch.
Chanelle was the first into the Diary Room to reveal who she had chosen to nominated.
Choosing Kerry, she said: āKerry, because thereās been numerous occasions where she shoots people downā¦ mainly towards Farida,ā before adding: āI find it uncomfortable.ā
Hallie was next in, choosing Farida. She said: āShe can be annoying at times and I feel like she hasnāt made the best of efforts to get to know anyone.
She added that Farida ātalks over people, interrupts peopleā and āwants to be the leader of the houseā.
Henry was next to nominate, also choosing Farida, explaining: āSheās not been the easiest person.Ā

Harsh?Ā Farida nominated Kerry: āShe just likes a whole load of gossip. I hate people that gossip. She has mini tantrums. Sheās a grown woman that needs to get it together and deal with itā
Honest:Ā Kerry chose Farida, saying: āSheās hard work. I find her selfish and Iām finding her hard work at the momentā¦ I feel like she looks down on me quite a bitā
āI was having a conversation on the bed with Zak and he was asking about my boarding school experiences.Ā
āShe was talking over me telling Zak I learnt classical music which didnāt actually happen.
ā I just found sheās quite opinionated on something she doesnāt have a perspective on.ā
Matty was next to nominate, choosing Kerry. He said: āShe can be quite loud and sometimes her voice can just go through meā¦ she can be overpowering in group situations and she can moan a lot.Ā
āIt upsets me when people arenāt grateful.ā
Trish chose Paul, explaining: āI donāt get much deepness from him and I think weāve had enough days to get to know people up close. Iām quite stimulated by deep conversations and I donāt see heās capable of that.ā
Zak chose Henry, saying: āI feel like heās not spoken to everyone in the house properly. I feel like heās just keeping himself to the people heās most comfortable being around.ā
Yinrun nominated Kerry, saying: āMy personality coming into this house, I was very shy. I feel a little bit distant while I was trying to talk to herā¦ It is very distant when I feel like someone is not that interested in me.ā
Unimpressed:Ā Jordan chose Paul, saying: āI donāt really appreciate his humour. All the bodily fluid jokes, I donāt appreciate whatsoeverā
Didnāt gel: Hallie was next in, choosing Farida. She said: āShe can be annoying at times and I feel like she hasnāt made the best of efforts to get to know anyoneā

Dylan chose Farida, exclaiming: āHow can you be in the house with people for five days and not know her namesā¦ She asked me Chanelleās name today, she called her Janine or something. For her to keep calling me Deanā¦ Itās rude.ā
Paul nominated Farida, saying: āShe told me the reason she wants to be on Big Brother is that she wants to spread the word of Islam and I thought that was amazing but then she later gave other reasons. I donāt really know where she stands.ā
Olivia also chose Farida, saying: āThe day she ate my salmon and cornā¦ she ate my corn and with the same spoon she ate my salmon. It wound me up.ā
Noky chose Kerry, explaining: āShe speaks in a negative way about other housematesā¦ to their face or away from them. She can be quite patronising towards Farida.ā
Tom voted for Farida, saying: āIt does sometimes feel a little more Iām getting spoken at rather than having a conversation.ā
Farida nominated Kerry, explaining: āShe just likes a whole load of gossipā¦ I hate people that gossip. She has mini tantrums. Sheās a grown woman that needs to get it together and deal with it.ā
Jenkin chose Farida, saying: āWith Farida I feel like Iām being spoke to, not with. Itās a very one way conversation and it makes me feel like Iām wasting me time. I feel like she has a hidden agenda.

Big Brother announced that Farida and Kerry would be the first housemates facing eviction after their fellow housemates had their say.
Upon learning her fate Farida was left fuming over the news as she locked horns with Olivia.
Farida was suspicious that the two oldest housemates had found themselves up for eviction, convinced that the younger contestants had banded together.
She told Kerry: āAll the youngsters stuck together and they got out the oldest people.ā
Overhearing the conversation Olivia struggled to stifle a laugh which resulted in yet another furious clash between the pair.
Elsewhere, Jenkin suspected Kerry was not handling the news as cooly as she appeared, telling Big Brother: āI reckon, itās gonna brew and the more that Kerry is saying sheās not bothered itās going to sort of start to seem like she isā¦ which might wind up Farida.ā

Kerry and Farida were revealed to the public as the first two housemates of the revival to be up for eviction during Thursdayās episode of Big Brother: Late & Live.
However, the news left fans of the show gutted, with many predicting there would be less drama with one of the pair leaving the house.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote:Ā āFarida and Kerry being the only ones up for eviction is going to rob us of so much potential aggro. gutted.ā
While a second posted: āI didnāt wanna believe that they would put two iconic housemates Farida and Kerry up for eviction on FIRST WEEK.ā
Someone else shared: āIf we lose Farida or Kerry tomorrow itās going to be a DISASTER as this tensionĀ thats brewing is giving me life and I need to see them carry on driving each other potty.ā
End of the road: After the housemates made their choices the public decided Farida should be sent packing after she was nominated along with Kerry
And someone else wrote: āUghhhh why do I have to pick between Kerry and Farida when people like Dylan, Zak, Paul, Noky, Tom Henry and Matty exist.ā
A fifth commented: āCanāt stand either of them, but they offer great entertainment value and I really donāt want either Farida or Kerry to gooo.ā
With a seventh writing: āIf I had my way both Kerry and Farida would be staying!!! I was gagging to see their feud hit boiling point, so many others deserved to go first.ā
