Reality TV star Ann Kaplan is sure to be the toast of many newlyweds after buying Lympne Castle in Kent.
The previous owners cancelled weddings that had been booked there when they sold it but Ann, 62, star of Real Housewives Of Toronto, reassures me Lympne is open for nuptials again and she’s even offering a 20 per cent discount.
Ann admits doing up the Grade I-listed pile near Folkestone has been one of her biggest challenges.
‘I feel I bought a dream and ended up with a job,’ she says, adding she’s lost a few nights’ sleep over her new home, which was on the market for £11 million.
She’s invited Tom Cruise, who also has a home in Kent, to drop by. Maybe he’ll keep Lympne in mind for wedding No 4!
