David Mabuza Illness And Health Update
As per a source, David Mabuza illness is not the reason for his departure from the parliament as he is in good health condition.
However, in the past, the politician has suffered from a month-long illness and also stated that he is grateful to be alive after the sickness.
According to Sowetanlive, Mabuza fell critically ill, and it got disclosed that he was poisoned while on duty as stated in the medical reports.
David revealed that he put his guard down when he took food from unknown sources at his birthday celebrations in Bushbuckridge in August during an interview.
The ANC chairman for Mpumalanga claimed he nearly passed away and was unable to move or stand.

Doctors did not make a diagnosis until after he was sent to Life Little Company of Mary Hospital in Pretoria.
Next, Mabuza began receiving treatment from his Pretoria doctors, which gradually drained the toxin from his body.
As per records, the politician still has poison effects in his body and cannot stand for a longer period. He continues to receive intensive treatment every day after work which makes him pain-free.
Later, David again made headlines in the news when he stated that he was hospitalized in Russia at his own cost and no money was paid by the South African government for his treatment.

Why Did David Mabuza Resign?
People were assuming that David Mabuza illness might be the main reason for leaving the parliament but that is not the case.
According to DailyMaverick, Deputy President David Mabuza withdrew his name from the National Assembly on Tuesday.
The departing deputy president announced his resignation from his job at the beginning of the month.
Mabuza stated he wanted to create room for recently elected ANC deputy president Paul Mashatile while speaking at his brother’s burial in Mpumalanga.
Earlier, Vincent Magwenya, a spokesman for President Cyril Ramaphosa mentioned Mabuza would step down from his job after all the arrangements for his departure had been made.

Rumors that Mashatile was being prevented from moving further by Ramaphosa’s close allies arose because of the delays around the Cabinet reshuffle. Fikile Mbalula, the secretary-general of the ANC, has insisted that there is nothing improper about the procedure involving the reshuffle.
President Ramaphosa has expressed gratitude and appreciation to Vice President Mabuza on behalf of the South African government and people for his extraordinary contribution to the nation over the past five years.
Mabuze, a native of rural Mpumalanga and a trained teacher, got his start in politics while still a student through the Black Consciousness movement and then through teachers’ unions.
David presided over the prominent Congress of South African Trade Unions branch, the South African Democratic Teachers Union, as its chairman from 1988 until 1991.
Mabuza became an ANC representative in the Mpumalanga provincial legislature following the end of apartheid in 1994.
