Who is Ann Cowherd?

Ann Cowherd was born in the United States America, and is known as the wife of sports media personality Colin Cowherd, who gained popularity as a part of ESPN. There are very few details available about Ann and her life before she met Colin. They were both previously married and divorced before meeting each other.

The Net Worth of Ann Cowherd

How rich is Ann Cowherd? As of early-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is over $1 million, earned through success in her various endeavors. It is also known that her wealth has been elevated by her husband, who has a net worth that is over $14 million. As she continues her endeavors, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Her Husband Colin Cowherd

Colin began his career as a broadcaster in the Las Vegas based television station called KVBC. He would then further his career as a sports anchor before eventually finding work with ESPN in 2003. He’s been known for hosting shows for ESPN Radio as well as the television program “Sports Nation”. Other shows he’s handled include “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” which he has done with Fox Sports, and “Speak For Yourself” which is also a part of Fox Sports.

Prior to joining Fox Sports, Cowherd was involved in a controversy when he made statements about Dominican Republic players, which led him to end his contract with ESPN. He was suspended before being released in 2015, and after which he stated his intention to join Fox Sports. ESPN also released a statement that they cut ties with Cowherd due to the remarks he made. In 2017, he also had a rather controversial interview with LaVar Ball, in which Ball made somewhat sexist comments about broadcaster Kristine Leahy.

First Marriages

Colin was known to have stated during his youth that being single was troublesome, as he felt dangerous around numerous girls. While little is known about his first marriage as he rarely talks about it, it was to Kimberly Ann Vadala who was a model. They married in 1996 and had two children during their marriage of 10 years, at which pint they divorced. He never really talked about the reason for his divorce, nor revealed many details about the marriage, except that  according to Colin, his ex-wife was mean and liked to control the relationship. The two settled their divorce in 2007, in which they split their assets in half.

Ann was also a divorcee, having a previous marriage and four children from that relationship. Since being together with Colin, she has also kept quiet about her previous married life.

Married for the Second Time

Colin would join a long list of celebrities who eventually went on to marry a second time. According to reports, the two met through a common friend, Trace Gallagher while in Las Vegas. Ann and Colin dated for a while, and the two then decided to marry. Due to their kids from previous relationships, they now have a collective six children together, but they do not have children of their own.

Cowherd has been known to be very supportive of her husband, and in an interview, Colin revealed that his wife even installed gym equipment in their basement so he can work out at home, as the two of them are very conscious when it comes to fitness and health. The marriage has apparently been going strong, and there have been no negative rumors surrounding their relationship. They reside in a mansion located in Manhattan valued at over $3 million.

Ann Cowherd on Social Media

Like most wives of celebrities, Ann stays away from the media, protecting her privacy, so she isn’t involved with any social media pages, which means that further information about her private life is lacking. Although she has no presence on any of the high profile social media websites such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, there are other Ann Cowherd profiles online, but they are of different people. Her husband on the other hand is very active on social media, again similar to many sports personalities. He currently does a lot of commentary on the National Basketball Association (NBA), especially during its playoffs.

He also has a Facebook page which he updates regularly, and clips of him are available on the video-sharing website YouTube; some of his full shows and segments are there, posted by Fox Sports. Clips and videos are also posted by fans and other media outlets. There are not many pictures of the couple together on social media, as Colin does not post them frequently.
