These modifications have been linked to her email and her husband’s IP address, which led to significant backlash within the ultrarunning community.
Her controversial edits include removing accolades from Courtney Dauwalter’s page, such as her wins at Hardrock 100, UTMB, and Western States 100.
She removed the statement “widely regarded as one of the best trail runners ever” from other athletes and added a similar statement to her page.
Moreover, Camille and Conor’s “Temporun73” Wikipedia account was temporarily banned for violating Wikipedia’s conflict of interest policies. They have operated “Rundbowie” since February 2024.
