Fans are happy to know that the rapper Al B Sure’s health improved after he woke up from a coma.

Al B. Sure! is the stage name of American rapper, songwriter, and producer Albert Joseph Brown III. Brown’s music helped to make new jack swing one of the most recognizable fusion genres. He has won numerous accolades, including an AMA for Best New R&B Artist and New York Music Awards.

Brown was a football star while he attended Mount Vernon High School. Later, the rapper turned down a scholarship offer from the University of Iowa to pursue his musical career. Albert gained attention from music producer Quincy Jones in 1987, and as a result, he won the Sony Innovators Talent Search.

Al B Sure Health Update: What Is He Doing Now?

According to his son, Albert Brown IV, R&B singer Al B. Sure! has been recovering after spending two months in a coma.

Albert Joseph Brown IV shared a birthday message on social media over the weekend. In the post, he disclosed that his Father spent two months in the hospital and has “made it out” of his current struggle.

The well-known producer and radio host has been discussing his health issues on social media for months. In July, he even revealed he was getting ready for surgery. He did not, however, go into great detail about his struggles.

Al B. also received a lot of help as his health crisis became public from colleagues in the industry and well-known people like Snoop Dogg, Halle Berry, and vice president Kamala Harris.

Resuming his work, Al is currently composing new music, writing a book about his life, and starting a podcast. He most recently provided the narration for the Loudmouth, a documentary about the life of the Rev. Al Sharpton.

Al B Sure Woke Up From Coma And Gave Interview

After emerging from a two-month coma, the 54-year-old radio host spoke to FOX New York in his first interview this week.

He talked about putting on weight during the height of his career after taking home the best artist American Music Award and being nominated for two Grammy Awards.

What Happened To Al B Sure?

Earlier this year, things worsened when AL passed out while working on his new music and slipped into a coma for more than two months. 

Al B., whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III, revealed that he had several illnesses, including renal failure, and that his health was so bad that his medical professionals considered putting him in hospice care.

After going through the near-death experience, Al B. gathered his strength and is now on the road to recovery, he said.

The musician said that people take breathing for granted unless someone has undergone this kind of medical journey. He also revealed that he is a recipient of a new liver.
