A young Aussie has been left fighting for life in hospital with critical brain injuries after a horrific motorbike accident in Bali.

Dylan suffered ‘extensive and life-threatening injuries’ in the crash on October 29 and is currently on life support in a Balinese hospital.

He will undergo critical surgery to remove a large blood clot putting pressure on his brain as his desperate family work to bring him home.

A GoFundMe has been created to help with the costs of Dylan’s surgery which is estimated to be upwards of $40,000.

The campaign has raised over $120,000 in just 24 hours.

‘Dylan may be able to come home after this surgery and that would be a huge positive step for him and his family,’ organiser Steven Brown wrote.

‘But bringing him home will cost between $50,000 to $100,000 so your donations to help with this mean the world to us.

‘We desperately want our beautiful kind son and brother home and alive.’

Dylan is seen poolside and posing with family members in holiday snaps from before the accident shared on the GoFundMe.

In the latest photo, he is seen hooked up to a variety of tubes in a hospital bed where it’s understood he will be prepared for surgery.

Mr Brown expressed his gratitude to those who had donated, with a special mention to an anonymous donor who contributed $40,000.

‘To all the donors so far and to the large anonymous donor. We are in tears of thanks for your generosity,’ he said.
