A body has been pulled from the Yarra River in Melbourne’s CBD.

The corpse was found floating near shops and restaurants at Convention Centre Place at South Wharf about 9.30am on Thursday.

A Victoria Police spokesman said: ‘The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.’

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
