Yankees vs. Orioles prediction: MLB player props, picks, odds

After scoring nine runs on Saturday, the Yankees have an excellent opportunity to continue their offensive breakout on Sunday in the series finale against the Orioles.

The O’s will send the struggling Dean Kremer to the mound as they look for a series win.

The right-hander has a 4.80 ERA over 15 games (14 starts) this season, and hitters aren’t being fooled at all.

Kremer has just 65 strikeouts over 84 ⅓ innings while giving up 92 hits and allowing batters to hit .275 against him, which is the 5th-highest in the majors among qualified pitchers.

As he has virtually his entire big league career, Kremer is having a hard time keeping the ball in the yard.

For the third straight season, Kremer is allowing 1.25 homers or more per nine innings, which is among the highest rates in the league over that stretch.

With the homer-prone Kremer on the mound, I’m targeting none other than the Yankees star Aaron Judge.

The Bombers’ slugger has dominated Kremer over his career, hitting four home runs in just 18 plate appearances against him, including a 110 mph laser in late September last year.

Like the rest of the Yankee lineup, Judge has been in a funk, but he’s shown signs of breaking out of it in recent days, hitting his first home run in a week on Friday night and adding a pair of singles.

Judge is likely to have one of the lowest – if not the lowest – odds to hit a home run in the big leagues on Sunday, but its unlikely he’ll have another shot as good as this one.

The play: Aaron Judge to hit a home run
