Xana Kernodle’s dad reveals he almost went to Idaho house just before the murders

Victim Xana Kernodle’s dad, Jeff, revealed at Bryan Kohberger’s sentencing Wednesday he had almost gone to her house on the night she was murdered, and deeply regrets not going — saying the cold-blooded killer would’ve had to have dealt with him instead.

“I really wish I would have gone,” he said, adding that Xana had called him saying she wasn’t feeling well.

“They would have had a chance, all four of them.”

Kernodle said the only thing that stopped him from heading to the house was that he’d promised his daughter a week earlier that he wouldn’t drink and drive.
