It’s been years since Kathy Hilton‘s infamous Aspen meltdown — and Lisa Rinna‘s husband Harry Hamlin still has yet to encounter someone as “messed up” as his wife was when she returned home from the trip.
On Tuesday night’s (Feb. 4) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Hamlin joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards in the Bravo Clubhouse, where host Andy Cohen asked what Rinna told him about Hilton’s off-camera tirade during the Season 12 cast trip.
“Oh, she told me everything,” Hamlin said. “When Lisa walked in — they flew back from Aspen, she walked in, and she was white as a sheet. I have never seen anybody who had been so messed up by what she’d encountered in Aspen.”
He added, “So, yeah, it was pretty intense. It was very, very intense.”
Meanwhile, Richards — whose relationship with Hilton became strained as a result of the Aspen trip — awkwardly sipped her drink as she looked around the room.
“I’m eyeing the exit signs,” she joked.
Rinna claimed that Hilton had a “psychotic break” one night in Aspen after the DJ refused to play Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.” The former reality star accused Hilton of disparaging her co-stars, including her sister Richards, whom she allegedly threatened to “ruin.”
While Hilton did admit to saying some “pretty strong things” in an interview with Variety, she told the outlet that Rinna’s version of events was not exactly how it happened.
“Let’s just put it this way: What I said was not what Lisa said,” she said in the October 2022 interview. “I don’t even talk like that! I love those girls. So I don’t know why she had said that. And then to say what she said about my sister. That’s how she talks. I don’t talk about ‘I’m gonna take somebody down.’”
