Craig Conover is back off the market. Just a few months after his split from Paige DeSorbo, the Southern Charm star revealed on Thursday night’s (March 27) episode of Watch What Happens Live that he’s currently “seeing someone” new.
Conover appeared on the Andy Cohen-led talk show with his co-stars Shep Rose and Austen Kroll, who sat by his side as he was grilled about his former relationship.
In a recent episode of Summer House, DeSorbo complained about not feeling supported by Conover in her career endeavors. However, he told Cohen that her claims couldn’t have been further from the truth.
“A lot of the stuff that y’all are seeing is misconstrued and it’s not accurate and that’s OK,” he said on WWHL. “She might’ve been over the relationship, but she never felt not supported by me, in my opinion. But again, why does it matter?”
According to Conover, there were plenty of cut scenes from Southern Charm in which DeSorbo spoke with him about their future together.
“What you didn’t see was on Southern Charm, what I saw before the reunion, her in my pool saying she wanted to get married and have kids,” he said. “Trust me, it has been a very frustrating couple of months for me because of the decisions that were made outside of my control. And I have done a lot of work to just move forward.”
So, how exactly has Conover been moving forward? Well, he confirmed that he’s currently “dating” and “really happy.”
“When I date, I tend to date only one person at a time,” he said. “So I’ve been seeing someone and I’ve been reminded that the universe works in crazy ways but everything happens for a reason.”
The Sewing Down South founder did not name his new love interest, but he did tell the audience that she’s “not” his co-star Salley Carson. During an Instagram Live with the Southern Charm girls, Madison LeCroy reportedly described Conover’s new girlfriend as “really pretty,” while Carson said the cast knows who she is.
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
