Women’s March Madness could finally deliver chaos missing from past years

The selection committee has spoken. The 68-team field for the women’s NCAA Tournament has been set.

It’s time for teams to grab the scissors and for some nets to be snipped.

The fun is about to begin.

It’s been one of the most chaotic yet entertaining women’s college basketball seasons in recent memory. For years, there has been a clear favorite heading into the women’s NCAA Tournament. Recently, it’s been South Carolina versus the field. Many remember the days, though, when it was Connecticut against everyone else. Baylor, Notre Dame, Stanford and Tennessee all had their seasons as the championship front-runners, too.
