The body of a woman has been discovered near a pier in Melbourne.
The woman was found unresponsive in water in the vicinity of the pier in Port Melbourne about 10.40am.
An investigation is underway and the woman is yet to be formally identified.
The exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined.
