It’s not known what the patron’s current condition is.

Allianz Stadium confirmed the incident happened last night.

“This is a terribly sad incident and our thoughts and wishes are with the patron and their family during this time,” a stadium spokesperson said in a statement.

“The patron was attended to immediately by venue staff and a nearby guest who is a qualified medical professional.

“Medics arrived shortly after and the patron was taken from the venue by ambulance to hospital.

“We are working with NSW Police and will provide further updates as they become available.”

The British singer will perform in Melbourne next week before a series of shows as part of A Day on the Green.
