Detectives are questioning a man after a woman was shot dead near Brisbane overnight.
Police were called to a home on Grant Road at Morayfield, north of Brisbane, just after midnight.
Emergency services did what they could to save the 29-year-old victim but she died at the scene.

Detectives were at the crime scene this morning searching bins at a nearby daycare centre.
An 18-year-old Morayfield man has been taken into custody for questioning but no arrests have been made.
