A woman has been rescued after falling off a mountain’s lookout in Queensland.

Paul became trapped on an embankment near Cameron Falls after falling 40 metres from a lookout at Mount Tamborine, just after 2pm today.

Rescue crews worked for several hours to free the 24-year-old woman, using ropes to bring her back up the cliff.

It’s believed that she was walking through Mount Tamborine with a group of friends before she fell.

Paul was assessed by medical staff at the scene and was taken to hospital for further treatment.

She is reportedly suffering from neck and shoulder pain, but her condition is still unknown.
