A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead inside a home in Sydney’s south.

Emergency services were called to the house on Unwin Street, in Bexley, just before 6pm on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old woman was found unresponsive and despite the efforts of paramedics, she died at the scene.

A 39-year-old man that police allege is known to the woman was arrested at the property and has been charged with murder. 

The man was refused bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Thursday.

Investigations into the woman’s death are continuing.
