Lauren Willgoose crashed into pedestrian Tony Walsh on Goodwood Road in Goodwood on June 30 last year.
The 29-year-old lawyer left the scene after the crash.
Walsh was critically injured and died at Royal Adelaide Hospital nine days later.
CCTV obtained by 9News captured Willgoose leaving the Goodwood Park Hotel before the crash 300 metres away.
The court heard CCTV from inside the venue showed Willgoose consuming five glasses of wine before driving.

Prosecutors today opened her trial saying there was no evidence Willgoose hit the brakes or swerved.
They alleged after leaving the scene that her first phone call was to a criminal lawyer.
Willgoose disputes that she was drunk and the trial will hear evidence the weather and poor lighting meant she didn’t see Walsh.
Prosecutors say they will use CCTV from inside the pub to show her drinking and will call an expert who will estimate her blood alcohol level at the time of the accident would have been 0.23 – almost five times the legal limit.
A viewing of the scene will take place on Wednesday.
