A woman has been charged in connection with the suspicious death of a father in Sydney‘s north-west last month.

The body of 39-year-old John Birch was found under a tarp in a paddock off Gleness Place in Glenorie, in The Hills district, on March 14.

Police today arrested a 35-year-old woman at a home on Gleness Place.

She was taken to Castle Hill Police Station where she was charged with accessory after the fact to murder and larceny.

She was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on May 29.

A second man, 24-year-old James French, has also been charged in relation to the man’s death and remains before the courts.

Police said previously that they believe French and Birch knew each other.
