Police have arrested a woman believed to be linked to an alleged violent robbery and carjacking south of Brisbane.
Police are hunting for a man allegedly responsible for the carjacking, but arrested an alleged female accomplice today.
It is understood the man pushed the mother out the passenger door and leapt into the driver’s seat.
The couple was knocked over as the man sped off and CCTV footage captured the pair screaming.
The two children were located unharmed at a service station in Cornubia shortly after.

It came after the man allegedly attempted to steal a car from a 26-year-old woman nearby, but a passerby intervened.
Police revealed today they had charged a 20-year-old woman from Holmview for her alleged part in the ordeal.
It’s unclear what role the woman allegedly played in the carjacking.
She will face court on charges of assault, motor vehicle theft and drug possession.
Police are continuing to search for a man in relation to the incident.
