A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed to death during an incident at a home on a quiet suburban street.
Emergency services were called to the home on Murrabin Avenue in Matraville, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, about 6:15pm on Tuesday.
A man was found critically injured and died at the scene despite the best efforts of paramedics.
Police arrested a woman nearby who is assisting police.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command and Homicide Squad detectives have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
