Woman allegedly enters closed Georgia restaurant, tosses together $500 salad

She had the right to romaine silent.

A woman allegedly entered a closed Georgia restaurant last weekend and put her hands on enough ingredients that the salad she tossed together was worth $500, according to authorities.

Callie Elizabeth Thweatt, 23, is accused of sneaking into the Harvest Moon Café after-hours and rummaging through its food coolers, according to a warrant obtained by WSB-TV.

As she made the salad, officers alleged she touched several items — leaving ingredients that added up to hundreds of dollars in value useless.

It’s unclear whether Thweatt allegedly threw in some extra avocado or if she went heavy on the croutons. Rome police didn’t reveal what she allegedly put in the salad.

Authorities charged her with theft by taking, the station reported.
