A 35-year-old woman charged over her links to last week’s fatal crash which killed a much-loved grandmother near Brisbane will remain behind bars.

Police say Rachael Anne Collyer from Caboolture had been on the run for more than three days.

Police charged Collyer with robbery whilst armed and attempted robbery over the theft and use of an orange Holden Barina.

It’s that car a 16-year-old boy was allegedly in for most of the morning before he’s accused of stealing a luxury Audi at gunpoint before ploughing into the 69-year-old victim’s Toyota.

Police say the teen and Collyer were earlier both involved in multiple carjackings using what appeared to be a gun.

At one stage they targeted an 18-year-old woman at Rothwell Train Station.

Collyer didn’t appear in person and no application for bail was made. She will remain behind bars until at least Thursday.

She is charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery in company, and one count each of armed robbery in company and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Police previously charged the 16-year-old boy with manslaughter over November 7 crash.

The teenager will next appear in court on December 17, charged with one count each of manslaughter, armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle, as well as two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

Investigations are continuing and police are hopeful more arrests will come.
