Here are some nuggets from Yankees’ spring training on Saturday:
Willie to win
Left fielder Willie Calhoun, fighting for a job, caught a fly ball and made a strong throw home, which prevented Danny Jansen from tagging up from third.
Later, Calhoun slugged a double off the right-field wall. He is 11-for-30 (.367) in the Grapefruit League.

Joshin around
Josh Donaldson, who made a nice sliding play in the field, went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts. The third baseman is 5-for-25 (.200) this spring.

Caught my eye
When Oswaldo Cabrera moved over from second base to first base in the seventh inning, it was his seventh position played in the Grapefruit League.
Previously, he played each outfield spot, third base and shortstop.
“We’re going to keep it at seven,” manager Aaron Boone said.
