Fire Country may have already been picked up for a third season, but when will Season 2 of the CBS drama become available on Netflix?
Last month, news broke that CBS had inked a deal with the streaming giant to license Season 1 for streaming outside of its home platform, Paramount+. Fire Country‘s first season hit Netflix on Aug. 1, and currently ranks in today’s top 10 TV titles on the platform.
Per a May 2 network press release, Season 3 will air as part of CBS’ Friday night slate during the 2024-2025 season. For the first half of the season, Fire Country will air new episodes at 9/8c after S.W.A.T. and prior to Blue Bloods. The schedule will then be led by NCIS: Sydney, followed by Fire Country and then S.W.A.T.
Starring Max Thieriot as Bode Donovan, the show also features Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer. Plus, Season 3 will be getting a special cast addition. Deadline reports that Jared Padalecki will take on a three-episode-long guest role as Camden, who the outlet describes as “a SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with.” However, Camden instantly picks up on Bode’s “raw talent .”
Sources even teased to the outlet that a spinoff helmed by Padalecki’s Camden could be in store. In fact, another Fire Country spinoff titled Sheriff Country, starring Morena Baccarin, will air during the 2025-2026 season.

Will Fire Country Season 2 be on Netflix?
As of now, Netflix is only streaming Fire Country Season 1. However, as noted by The Escapist, if Season 2 follows the same timeline, fans should be able to stream it on Netflix in approximately June or July 2025, or a little more than a year after Season 2 wrapped on CBS.
